Who is a Green client?

Green clients are those who use only off-the-shelf products and the standard participant portal with no integrations. For these clients, a general communication should be all that’s needed to communicate the update; there is no action needed from the client to use the upgraded 2023 scoring and norms starting June 1.

Here are some resources to support Green clients:

Who is a Yellow client?

Yellow clients either have a custom profile/competencies and/or have a basic web services integration. In general, there is little to no action needed from the client and the anticipated impact will be minimal. We anticipate that with proper communication, these clients can start using the upgraded 2023 scoring and norms on June 1.

What should I do for Yellow clients with a custom profile or competencies?

The Talent Analytics team has completed impact analyses on all custom profiles. In general, any profile that showed less than 10% of people who were not in the lowest fit level (i.e., were in one of the higher fit levels) shifted to the lowest fit level when using the 2023 norms are considered a Yellow client. We consider this to be a low impact change and the profile can work as-is on the 2023 norms.

For these clients, we anticipate an email highlighting the importance of the scoring and norm update and providing their impact analysis will be all that’s required for these clients to start using the upgraded 2023 scoring and norms on June 1.

In addition to the resources provided above for Green clients, here is an email template [link email template] you can use and modify to communicate with Yellow clients who have a custom profile or competencies.

What should I do for Yellow clients with a basic web service integration?

Basic web service integrations include the following services:

  • Add Participant Report
  • Rescore Participant Report
  • Get Participant Score
  • Get Competency Score
  • Get Participant Recommendation Express
  • Get Participant Recommendation Safety

These clients will need to update their norm ID to “2023Global” (or the equivalent for local norms using the “2023Local” as the format)

In addition to the resources provided above for Green clients, here is an email template [link email template] you can use and modify to communicate with Yellow clients who have a basic web service integration.

Who is a Red client?

Red clients either have a custom profile/competencies that show a moderate impact that we recommend addressing with a profile upgrade, and/or a customized integration. In general, there is more work involved for Hogan to make these updates and we would like to coordinate these updates with clients after June 1.

What should I do for Red clients with a profile or competencies?

In general, any profile that showed greater than 10% of people who were not in the lowest fit level (i.e., were in one of the highest fit levels) shifted to the lowest fit level when using the 2023 norms are considered a Red client. We are considering this to be a moderate impact change and Talent Analytics is recommending a profile update for the 2023 norms. For these clients, we anticipate a slightly higher level of communication might be needed to confirm the profile adjustment that Talent Analytics is suggesting and to schedule a conversion date for after June 1.

In addition to the resources provided above for Green clients, here is an email template [link email template] you can use and modify to communicate with Red clients who have a custom profile or competencies.

What should I do for Red clients with a custom integration?

Each of the custom integrations has their own level of impact. Please work with Tony, Jennifer, and Paul to coordinate what’s needed to update each of these integrations.

Known Red Client integrations include: Pixonality/D-Teck, PSI/Pan/Talogy, UPS
